I’ve just purchased the All In One printer HP Photosmart Plus and it’s working perfectly on my Mandriva 2010.2 box.
I’ve first try the USB connection as HP says that it’s not compatible with Linux. USB configuration is very easy using hp-setup command line. The scanner is fully operational using hp-scan.
So USB and Linux Mandriva 2010.2 works.
I’ve then tried the Wifi connection. I ran hp-setup the same way, printer is found and working. Scanner is found as well and working using hp-scan.
So Wifi and Linux Mandriva 2010.2 works.
I recall a time when it was so hard to add a printer to a Linux box. This time is over ! At least for HP printers.
